Chryseia is our finest expression of the Douro Valley terroir. Made with great care and attention to detail at our winery at Quinta de Roriz, Chryseia represents our two families' commitment to producing the most elegant wine from two hallmark Douro grapes: Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca.

The year A very wet spring was followed by several dry months and, thankfully, a fairly mild summer. This delayed ripening, but the final result was more than worth the wait.

The wine The 2008 is characterised by its fresh aromas, powerful tannins, and great elegance.
