Chryseia is our finest expression of the Douro Valley terroir. Made with great care and attention to detail at our winery at Quinta de Roriz, Chryseia represents our two families' commitment to producing the most elegant wine from two hallmark Douro grapes: Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca.

The year The three months leading up to the harvest were among the hottest and driest ever recorded in the Douro Valley. However, the vineyards remained in surprisingly good condition, a testament to their resilience and adaptability to harsh conditions.

The wine The 2022 is fruit driven, with soft and round tannins and great freshness, continuing our tradition of finesse.
